College Athlete Sues Reebok in Defective Product Case

Former college hockey player Bryan Horan has filed a defective product lawsuit against sports gear giant Reebok after suffering permanent vision loss as a result of an injury he sustained playing in a regional college hockey tournament in 2007. Horan has claimed that his face mask’s design was defective, as it could not prevent eye injuries caused by the narrow end of a hockey stick. The amount of the damages Horan is asking for in the case has not yet been disclosed.
