Brooklyn Judge Files Suit After Slipping on Wet Courthouse Floor

A judge is sitting at the plaintiff’s table in one recently filed slip-and-fall case. Supreme Court Justice Jack Battaglia fractured his knee after leaving the restroom in the Brooklyn, New York courthouse where he works, typically presiding over civil lawsuits that often bear many similarities to the suit Battaglia himself has brought against the city and a city employee. The judge is asking for over $1 million in damages in the case.
