Medical Malpractice Suit Filed in Castration Case

After complaining of groin pain, Cincinnati resident Stephen Kosti was admitted to an area hospital to undergo an exploratory procedure. During the diagnostic test, Dr. Gary Kirsch determined that the right testicle should be removed, as there was a strong possibility that potentially fatal cancer was the culprit behind the pain. After the procedure had been performed, Kosti sought a second opinion. Further tests determined that the removed testicle was completely cancer-free. Kosti has initiated a malpractice lawsuit in the case, requesting a jury trial.
