Personal Injury Lawsuits Stem from Seattle Police Shooting

A questionable police shooting incident that resulted in an intense firestorm of controversy has now led to a pair of personal injury lawsuits. Two years ago, off-duty Seattle police officer Zsolt Dornay shot two legal professionals in an alleyway confrontation. The incident began when the off-duty police officer rode his motorcycle through a crowded, narrow alleyway, accidentally striking one of the shooting victims. The confrontation soon spun out of control, resulting in a mob scene. In the midst of the melee, the off-duty officer fired several shots with his department-issued weapon. Although the victims survived the attack, both were left with extensive injuries.
