Crash that Killed Bicyclist Focus of Ohio Wrongful Death Lawsuit

On April 14, 2008, 39-year-old Lawrence Anderson was hit by a car while riding his bike and left at the scene of the collision. He died hours later at an area hospital from injuries he sustained in the crash. The driver accused of causing Anderson’s death, 36-year-old Kevin Mills, fled from the scene of the accident without reporting the incident or summoning emergency help to the site. In addition to the wrongful death lawsuit that has been filed by Anderson’s parents, Mills is facing a number of criminal charges in the case, including aggravated vehicular homicide. A court date has not yet been set in the matter.
