Virginia Mother Files $3 Million Suit in Son’s Death

16-year-old Virginia resident Daniel Lewis was killed in the summer of 2006 when the car he was riding in ran off the road. Last month, Lewis’ mother filed a $3 million wrongful death suit against the estate of driver James Hollie, claiming that Hollie operated the vehicle in a negligent manner. Although Hollie did not die in the crash, he is now deceased, explaining the suit against the executor of his estate. A court date has not yet been set in the matter.
