Family Files First Suit in Las Vegas Hepatitis C Case

The first of what is sure to be many wrongful death and injury claims was filed against a Las Vegas medical clinic that is believed to have been at the epicenter of a Hepatitis C outbreak that shook the city in early 2008. The family of 60-year-old James Ray Cromwell has claimed that the deceased patient developed a fatal case of liver disease after receiving tainted injections at the Endoscopy Clinic of Southern Nevada. An ongoing investigation has claimed that the clinic regularly reused vials and syringes.
