Texas Woman’s AutoZone Mishap Caused by Negligence, Suit Alleges

Sherry Grandchampt wasn’t on the lookout for road hazards when she was shopping for auto accessories in a local chain store. She didn’t notice a puddle of water that had accumulated on the floor in one of the store’s aisles. According to a recent negligence suit filed against both the chain and the franchise owners, Grandchampt slipped on the puddle, sustaining a number of injuries. Her suit is asking for medical costs, compensation for pain and suffering, as well as reparations for mental anguish and lost earnings.
