Fatal Motorcycle Crash Caused By Electrical Wire, Wrongful Death Suit Alleges

When 39-year-old Merrell Robinson rounded a mountain curve on his motorcycle in Sabine Pass, Texas, he never knew the maneuver would be his last. Now Robinson’s family has filed a wrongful death claim against Texas utility company Entergy, blaming the fatal motorcycle crash on the placement of a roadside guy wire in the area where the accident occurred. The family of the victim has claimed that the location of the guy wire and mounting post constituted negligence on Entergy’s part.
